Dear Members,
This is a quick note to inform you that the Radio Society will be hosting a seminar and workshop along with a special event station on January 12th Saturday from 9.00 to 12.00 noon. This 3 hour session will explain amateur radio, how to get about getting a license and also matters dealing with amateur radio. Lectures, practial sessions and Q&A. It will be conducted in Sinhala and English.
All are welcome, and you are welcome to bring along anyone interested in Amateur Radio.
Location: Lions’ International Activity Centre, 120 Vidya Mawatha Colombo 7 near the British High Commission area off Bullers Rpoad.

The weekend of the 12/13 is also Hunting Lions on the air contest and the special event station will run t the Lions activity centre.
